Looking through the archives has done me no favors, I need a way to find
out which users/Macs have iCloud enabled. At some point I need to
disable iCloud outright and knowing how many users have it enabled would
be extremely helpful.
All of my laptops have the firewall button in security & privacy
preferences grayed out even when I've unlocked the pref pane as admin.
Anybody else seen this behavior? Doesn't happen on my iMacs, happens on
both Sierra and High Sierra.
Good point. We've found that here too - if the AD account doesn't have a
home directory on the server, then in Directory Utility for that account
on the Mac the box "Use UNC path from Active Directory to derive network
home location" has to be blank ...
Thanks, you nailed it, that's it exactly. I have a Security and Privacy
configuration profile that enforces File Vault on laptops - that's all
it does, except to force recovery key redirection to the JSS. As you
say, it locks the buttons in the prefe...
I'm having the same problem, and following mr_dent's suggestion, I
checked out Configuration Profiles but the "Allow host pairing with the
exception of the supervision host (Supervised devices only)" checkbox"
doesn't seem to be available in JSS 9.8....
