I am doing some tests with our installation and workflow on the new M1
with Big Sur. It seems that it was fine installing our older version of
Jamf Connect Login (2.0.4) from self service as long as I would check
for Rosetta on the hardware first, an...
Hello,I seem to have this weird issue that only started to show up when
installing Jamf Connect 2.1.0 or higher (as far as I can tell). We have
a setup where each user does get Admin privileges on the machine after
we set them up. If someone else log...
So we have used the mass deployment of Backblaze for the users, however
now that software is getting out of date and there are updates. Though
we want to silently also hit machines with updates too. I haven't been
able to find anything about doing th...
Hopefully this isn't a question that's been repeatedly asked and
answered, however I haven't found exactly the situation we are running
into. Situation is that we are using JamfCloud, and we have a Restricted

reproduce without the update happening. Seems this might be something
triggered via the upgrade process.
Hi Mike, Thanks for your response and wish I saw it a few minutes
sooner.. I was searching for the wrong terms I guess about restoring the
Auth DB.. I'm working on seeing what would happen if one of the users
with the M1 just happened to do an upgrad...
For anyone else having this issue, after going thru a number of
solutions with Support, it seems that the old .plist files are causing
the issue. We created new clean ones with the same info and it now does
not cause the user to be demoted. This coul...
Ok I just tested this with another computer. Started with 1.9.1 of Jamf
Connect Login, then installed Jamf Connect 2.0.2 and still the user ID I
was testing with had Admin privileges, then I upgraded to Jamf Connect
2.1.2 and then the account got dem...
