Isn't this behavior expected though? The machine is encrypted with
FileVault. It requires authentication to boot up. Once authenticated to
boot it can proceed to the login screen. This is how my checkout [Intel]
Macbooks have always behaved.
Created an account just to echo this preference. Has anyone found a way
to change the new default at Settings > Home Screen & Dock > App Icons
from More to Bigger? (Bigger being the typical layout through iOS 12)
