Well I found this thread due to the Ventura 13.3 update. I'm sorry, I know the thread is old. I had to deal with this issue this morning. I'll search for a newer thread.

This is not a perfect solution, but you can create a web clip. Ex: smb://fileserver.yourdomain.com/pathIt will open in files.app.
