FYI, I had this problem today when my server ran out of space... JSS was
stuck at " Checking for tables to rename..." I went into the JSS
Database Utility, saved a backup of the JSS database, at which time it
repaired all sorts of tables, etc. Backup...
I would also like to hear a solution to this before it blows up and
becomes a big problem. Recalling our several hundred mobile devices to
re-supervise them is not an option.... we had to devote a substantial
amount of time to supervise them this sum...
We had trouble installing apps until we realized that we had
mis-configured our profile. Make sure that under Restrictions you have
'Allow installing apps' checked under Devices AND 'Allow use of iTunes
Store' checked under Applications.
