sub-page of the website itself, but the notification of new patches
available that came up in bold on the main discussion posts page of
JAMFNation. Will those sections be repeat...
If it's a one off user you're trying to add remote admin rights to;
create a policy with a 'files and processes' payload of: sudo dscl .
-append /Groups/admin GroupMembership USERNAME and target it to their
machine for either self service or once off...
SCCM, BigFix, and (Windows something?) are the leaders. But just like
with JAMF, there's a bunch of smaller second tier options that might be
a better choice for only twenty machines.
Create a policy targeted to machines that have just had the upgrade
installed, with a trigger for Login, frequency of once per machine, and
a Files and Processes execute command of "shutdown -r now" The login
window will appear, login, shortly afterw...
We've got what sounds like the same problem: Run an in-place upgrade;
Installer runs, appears to complete, prompts for login, user logs in,
installer pops back up, 13 minutes to go. What we've learned so far is
that it looks to be prompted by /System...
