Just wondering if anyone else is seeing any issues with the new Macbooks
and plugging into monitors. We have an Apple brand adapter for the USB-C
port and have a monitor plugged into the HDMI. The monitor will totally
wig out and flash colors, unplug...
Is anyone else having video issues with their 13" MacBook Pros (2012)? I
was excited to see Apple put out a repair notice for MacBook Pros for
video issues but it didn't include this model. I've attached an image so
you can see what is happening. App...
We're having an issue with /var/folders/* just running away and becoming
enormous, to the point of filling up the entire drive. On the one
computer I have here, if I delete it out I can watch it creating a gig

Has anyone seen this before? I've attached a photo where the app shows
MANY copies of the same printer. If you look in System Preferences at

I've only seen it on the 2012 13" MacBook Pros, nothing else as well...

We have this problem on most of our computers, but its manageable and I
can run the "rm -rf /var/folders" command with a Casper policy.. but in
some cases the hard drive is filling back up within minutes.
FYI, the computers work fine during a safe boot (which I had the techs
do to clean out these files). I just discovered on some of the computers
its filling up within minutes, so just doing an occasionally safe boot
to clean house isn't working. While...
Thanks for all the help on this. Its definitely an issue with sleep in
that the computers aren't waking up. This was screwing up both logging
on as well as the startup/shutdown schedules. I'm not finding much out
on the web about this being a Maveric...
