I'll be upgrading our XServe from 10.5.8 to 10.6.3 and was wondering if anyone knew of any hiccups I may run into during this install?
Would it be better to do a clean install and restore Casper information from a Time Machine backup or do the upgrade?
Thanks!

Have a good backup first, BUT as long as the server's fine I'd see no reason to go that extreme.

The Leopard Server->Snow Leopard Server upgrade is much more robust than Tiger Server->Leopard Server was (I would never recommend that).
Do read this KB article first:

As long as you're prepared to go through these steps following the upgrade, then you shouldn't have any issues. I've upgraded 3 servers (earlier this year) without problem/just followed these directions.

Tom,
I agree with you wholeheartedly. We also rebuild from scratch (not just servers, but workstations as well). An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
