Right now, when a user installs an app through Self Service that was assigned through managed app distribution (VPP), the app installs, but there is no setting to place an icon for the app in the Dock. We can scope a policy assigned to a smart group that includes these apps in their criteria and place the icons on the Dock, but unlike normal software installs via Self Service, there appears to be no way to have a Dock icon installed immediately after installing. Has anyone found a way to do this?
