Hello,
Has anyone else ever run into this situation? When copying certain
files from my Casper server (Mac OS X Server 10.4.10 on an Xserve
G4), the files begin copying, but then hang.
I first noticed this with an OS package I put together in Composer. I
added the package to the server via Casper Admin, and then tried
imaging a computer using that package. The imaging never completed (I
waited several hours).
I then tried copying the package manually in the Finder and met with
the same result: After 2.5MB of a 1.3GB file, the transfer stalled. I
waited about an hour; the only solution I could come up with was
unplugging the network cable thus allowing the OS to realize its
connection to the server was gone, which canceled the transfer.
Anyone have any thoughts?
