Audit Computer membership within a Smart Group

Is there a method I can use, WebUI or API that will show me the recent smart group memberships a computer has had recently?  I need historical groups not necessarily the ones the computer is a member of at the time I'm looking.

No. You would need a data reporting tool (like PowerBI) and have it ingest your data on a regular basis to see changes over time.
