Hi all,
Would love some help in making a Restricted Profile or other method for stopping my students from opening the Epic Games Launcher. I'm hoping to put an end to Fortnite on our school owned machines.
Many thanks!
Brenton

@bse_college For process names I used:
*Epic Games Launcher*
(not exact)
FortniteClient-Mac-Shipping.app
(restrict exact)
Edit: formatting because of the asterisks...

You could add it to the restricted software list and add a stern warning that playing Fornite is prohibited by code of conduct or such. I would add both Epic Games launcher and Fortnite process to the restricted software.

Thanks @roiegat . What process name would you put in? I have tried some already without success.

@bse_college I would have to look tonight at home on my own machine since I play it with my kids. Can't check at work since our firewall blocks all game related sites.
Easy way to find out is install it and run it, then look at activity monitor to see the process name.

Don't forget to block Steam also, just sort of because if you're blocking Epic Game Launcher might as well block Steam as well.
