I am having a problem with Casper Admin crashing when it gets to checking for deleted scripts at loading screen. I get "an exception of class nilobjectexception was not handled. The application must shut down." This all started when i upgraded to 8.22 i am now on 8.31 and still no luck. Its weird because on my iMac mid 2011 it works but on my MacBook Pro early 2011 and a MacBook Air 2010 it does not. I have deleted preference file and called JAMF support several time with still no luck. Can anyone help.

Is this on a Lion system? I've seen a few crashes of Casper Admin with errors like that before. Usually re-launching it resolves it, but every now and again I have to hold option while launching it to re-set the pref file with my server name.

I am seeing the same behavior. Crashes on my MacBook Pro (Early 2011) but not on my MacMini Server (Mid 2010). I have been meaning to call this in to JAMF, but haven't got round to it yet.
I am running OS X 10.7.2, but it happened on OS X 10.6.8 too.

Did anyone find a resolution for this?
It just started happening to me even though I've successfully used Casper Admin before with no issues.
Our Jamf server did get rebooted between now and then so maybe some service didn't properly start? What services/applications are required on the server for the Casper Admin client to function?
