Hello,
Wondering if anyone else is having the same issue. Casper imaging is running perfectly fine , no errors on the imaging logs but when it tries to restart the newly imaged or re-imaged machine it just hangs and does nothing. The imaging process however has worked perfectly once I forcibly shut the machine down and turn it back on.
Is anyone else experiencing similar issues.
We are using a 10.9.4 net boot image.

hi @jamesdurler,
I did see this a few times when writing/testing AutoCasperNBI (https://jamfnation.jamfsoftware.com/discussion.html?id=11356).
Is ARD enabled on the NetBoot image? & are you ARD'd onto it when it hangs?

hi @bentoms,
Yes we have ARD enabled on the NetBoot image. I am not ARD'd onto it when it hangs.
Thanks

other things i found..
If you've just copied over the NBI, restart the service & wait about 10 minutes before netbooting &/or enter the NetBootClients() folder before netbooting.
In other words, i've seen it.. but not sure what is causing it & am not affected by it right now..

Restarting the service seems to have helped.

10.9.4 issue. I believe that was the consensus on the previous net boot thread @bentoms logged.

Try without ARD, I found after I turned ARD off I had better success (no restart hangs), try it and let us know.
