We have recently applied and have been accepted into the Apple Deployment Program and we have started some testing using a few iPads. As far as we know we have configured everything as per documentation, but there must be something we have missed.
We are getting the following errors when enrolling the device through the DEP on different subnets with different firewall rules. We have also tried enrolling the device off campus.
ONSITE TESTING
- "Network Error has Occurred"
- "SCEP server returned an invalid response"
OFFSITE TESTING
- "Network Error has Occurred"
Please Note: We do not use a SCEP server.
Possibly we have not allowed the proper ports from "The Internet" through to our JSS. Rather than linking me to the JAMF Ports page, can some please shed some light on which ports need to be exposed to the JSS.
