I can see the iMac in Casper but it shows unmanaged and is not pulling down any profiles. Is there a way reset it and start over? I have heard DEP fails sometimes in this process. This is the 2nd machine I have tried using DEP and the first one worked great

Try deleting the system entirely from JSS. I have seen it hold on to records even after a reimage.

You can delete the record from the JSS and manually run a quickadd.pkg on it, or if you want to have DEP do it, delete /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
on the client and reboot.
Running the QuickAdd.pkg will be an easier route though.
