Deploying Adobe Package - Restricting users to upgrade software versions

I am seeking help with a project. 
I have created a package within Adobe that I want to push to a Smart group.
This package contains approved versions of specific Adobe software. 
I also need to downgrade the software it it exceeds the version.

Any help will be appreciated.

Adobe recently wrote a legit uninstall tool for the creative cloud; it has been awhile, but I believe it can be downloaded from the adobe admin console. it can be package if you like and installed via jamf to:

/usr/local/bin

and then easy commands can be executed to remove any and all adobe components if you like.

As far as preventing installation and upgrades. All of that is an option within the adobe admin console itself; when you build the installer packages themselves; look there for options. Hope that helps.

I will caution that like with most vendors, the majority of Adobe updates are security based. Attempting to version control, and even downgrade builds literally opens you up to vulnerabilities.

I completely agree; IF you are going to do this, I also encourage liberal use of the Adobe's remote update manager to patch the boxes in short order, after you complete whatever testing and validation is necessary. RUM is also a tool that can be installed via the adobe admin console. 

After RUM is installed,. the applications can be patched by running:

remoteupdatemanager --action=install
