As some of you might already know, Friday is my last day in my current position, before wobbling into the sunset (er, into the freezing cold).
Household stuff is shipped, except for the Harley (will only trust HaulBikes to handle her) which is going into Winter storage at the local Harley-Davidson dealer.
Traded in the CR-V for a Jeep a while back, driving it 1,000 miles to the new gig, praying for a snow storm or some unpaved roads, since I'm not slabbing it on a short wheelbase vehicle. :)
I plan to blog about the trip, if anyone is interested.
The Jeep will be topped off and was recently maintained. CarPlay is ready. Garmin inReach is ready. Yeti with water and sammishes ready. Shovel and traction boards ready (ya never know). RotopaX 2gal ready. This should be a fun trip.
I sent some well deserved recommendations to colleages who have shined. With that said, I want to take the time to recognize our global Director who has consistently made what we do possible:
See y'all soon, if the dragons don't get me.

@donmontalvo +1 on Good Luck! And how far into the freezing cold? (From a fellow ex-Floridian)

I grew up in NYC, but been in warmer climates the past 10 years. Will keep my eyes open for a good Winter coat along the route.
