There was a thread on here a while back about putting Casper on an external hard drive, but I can't seem to find it. Can someone point me to this, or explain what they're doing?

We use an external hard drive in cases where we do not have a netboot server that is readily available. The hard drive includes a bootable OS with all our primary admin and maintenance tools including the Casper Imaging Utility. All the apps are on doc for easy access. After booting off this drive we launch Casper Imaging and set the internal hard drive as the target.

In Casper Admin you can simply synchronize the external HD which will copy all the data, packages, and scripts right over.
