I'm pretty sure this issue has been beaten but we've finally upgraded our
sever to 10.7.2 from 10.6.8 and of course the jss is no longer working.
Running 8.1 . Tomcat isnt starting from the Jss. I've manually installed
tomcat and can reach localhost:8080 but no dice 8443. Any help ?

I tried this: sudo jssutil startTomcat but no dice.
Im starting to think Tomcat isnt installed anymore. When you check the jss
web application itt doesnt report a tomcat version. Which is why I
installed it manually by downloading the files from the apache site. Anyone
else have suggestions ?

Did you try the launchctl commands?

Have you installed Java? Also, have you re-run the JAMF installer?
