Get notified when a machine gets remove from JAMF

Hey guys,

I still have around 150 machines ( non-DEP ) that we enrolled manually in JAMF ! is there a way to get notified if a user removes the management profile from their machines ?

No I don't think so, but you could create a smart group that emails a notification when a machine joins or rejoins it based on certain criteria. I do this when machines get accidently added to our dev environment.

It won't tell you if they remove the management profile but setting up a smart group with the criteria of last inventory update set to more the X days will narrow down which machines you aren't getting information from. Set it to email you when group membership changes.

Also, have a look at this thread about setting up extension attributes to monitor what profiles each machine has installed. maybe you can track that through smart groups aswell
