icons appear without graphics

We are loading a pkg from the State of Michigan for student testing:
1. Did a snapshot in Composer
2. Did the install and set up, the program install creates shortcuts for the app and a tutorial on the desktop
3. Completed the snapshot and made the DMG
4. Created a policy to install

The program installs just fine and runs as it should. The only issue is the icons lose their color and graphics. When the program is loaded via policy, the icons are just white squares with the text. Not a big deal, the program works, but it bugs me... any ideas?

Didn't work... Really driving me crazy

I think I may have stumbled upon this, I noticed that my icons were looking the same:

Then I clicked on Command + J and brought up the View menu, I turned off Show Icon Preview and all my icons came back in color. I'm wondering if that is the issue with my student computers.

So, is there a way to turn this view option off in Casper? I also have Apple remote desktop, I know I can do it through that too... I think..

Nope... did not work...

Have to get ready for testing tomorrow, so I don't know what the deal is. These are just shortcuts to the app... nothing more.
