iOS 11 Testing / Blocking ?

I'm thinking that there may be a good chance that that iOS 11 may drop tomorrow. Has anyone out there done a lot of testing with it on the current version of the JSS ? (We are at 9.99.x) Just curious to see if anyone has seen any big gotchas ?

Is anyone thinking about blocking it temporarily ?

We are considering that.

Looking at these instructions :

The 9.99 release will not work for iOS 11. 9.100 provided the baseline functionality for really basic functions like Inventory, but 9.101 will be required to implement most management services. So definitely upgrade the JSS first :) Personally, I don't think it's going to drop tomorrow - I think it was about a week last year between the keynote and the release, and if memory serves, Sierra was a week or two after iOS.

Thanks for pointing out the aspects of the 9.99 release @iMatthewCM. Using 9.99 we have done a bit of testing and found that many basic functions (inventory etc) seem to work fine. Pushing apps even seems to work for the most part although it did ask for an Apple ID here and there. We did read another posting that said that issue is supposed to be fixed in 9.100. We will be watching tomorrow to see what the release date will be.
