Is anyone using Datadog or a similar product for monitoring a clustered environment? I would like to find a monitoring solution to consolidate the metrics for ease of use.

Hey @m.donovan Ive been using DataDog for about 6 months to monitor my Master WebApp, Admin Webapp, LoadBalancer and mySQL database. It's been a great tool. I highly recommend it. It's definitely helped me recognize issues and resolve them.
All their docs walked me through everything nicely. They have templates for a lot of common apps, like haproxy, mysql and tomcat.
I organized mine left to right in columns. MySQL, HaProxy LB, MasterWebApp, AdminWebApp.

Hello,
Datadog makes it easy to get setup and started. We also have some case studies detailing different customer environments that can be found here:
https://www.datadoghq.com/customers/
And you can find information on getting started here:
https://docs.datadoghq.com/
If you want additional details feel free to open a support ticket with:
support@datadoghq.com
Hope that helps!
Andrew

@ssrussell Wow! Thanks for the info. I have been playing around with it for a few months now but have not done anything with the integrations. Mainly just monitoring CPU and Memory usage. I just got the okay to upgrade to the pro version as soon as that gets done I will dive in.

Whoa, this looks very nice and something to consider as we develop robust monitoring.
Has anyone tried 'rolling their own' solution with something based on Zabbix?
