#JNUC - Music

There was a few questions in regards to what artists were being played between sessions at the JNUC so I figured I would share that list and the reasons behind the choices.

Since we are a midwest company every song that was played was from a local artist, either based or connected to the Twin Cities or Eau Claire, WI.

If you liked any of the songs you heard I highly recommend purchasing albums from any or all of these artists as they are all stellar. Just another reason why we love the midwest as much as we do.

So it's same as last year, the music you are hearing in between sessions at the JNUC is artists that are either based out of Minnesota or Wisconsin or were originally from these great states. Its a very similar list to last year but expanded with more, both old and new. Obviously some artists are missed but I feel this is strong representation of the scene. There may even be some Casper Admin's music sprinkled throughout as well. I will work on making a Spotify playlist of this when I have a chance. Thanks and Enjoy.

Same jam(f) as before, just bigger and better. But for the first time, I have made a playlist on Spotify. Obviously not all of the tracks played at the JNUC are available via Spotify, or iTunes for that matter, which gives even more reason to visit the artists' webpage and purchase directly from them. This is just one of the reasons we are proud of what talent the midwest produces and I think any way we can support the arts, the greater this community will become.

It would be great to see the collection on iTunes store, maybe as the "JNUC 2012 Collection"? :D

Thanks Mike, I would also like to buy this music. The artist list is helpful a song list would be great. I was able to Shazam a few, but the background noise made it almost impossible.

An iTunes Store collection would be most awesome...

Playlist on iTunes Radio: https://itunes.apple.com/us/station/hashtag-jnuc-radio!/idst.73730601

Built it off the Artist list, not the individual songs. There are a few artists 'not found' on iTunes.

Enjoy!

Nice...guess I didn't know eyedea and p.o.s. were from MN. You're missing (I am) Hatred though! My crappy little band drove up to play some record store show with them around 2000 - pushed the CD racks out of the way and threw down a little bit. But maybe hardcore isn't the vibe you're going for. ;) Pretty sure I have some tunes of theirs on a CD somewhere in my stash of my "band days" boxes.
