JSS 8.6 and Casper Suite Applications

If I upgrade our JSS server from 8.52 to 8.6 will I still be able to user the older Casper Suite applications (i.e. Composer, Admin) or will I have to upgrade the applications as well?

You'll need the new versions. Though, Composer you can keep as it doesn't directly talk to the JSS. However, Composer 8.6 squashed that re-naming bug so you'll probably want it.

Thanks for the response! So if I upgrade the Casper Suite to 8.6 will the upgrade preserve all of my preferences and packages created with the older version?

Will I have to update Casper Imaging as well for it to work with the JSS 8.6 server or will Casper Imaging 8.52 still work?
