Lion + Restricted Software?

I've built a couple machines with lion - but the Restricted software
doesn't seem to work. Both BootCamp and Mac App Store stay open. I
verified the JSS account is working (can recon / push software). The
app strings seem to be the same..

What else am I missing?

I have found that on computers with Lion, Managed Preferences
that control application launching ( black list ) don't work as
expected. The applications won't launch for the end user but
the application icon bounces in the Dock for a while and the
process does show up as running in the Activity Monitor.

Josh, is this still an issue in Lion? I cannot seem to get any Restricted Applications to work in Lion... ?

I just added App Store as restricted and it's working okay for me. 8.52 JSS and 10.7.4 client. Other managed preferences (MCX) are in use and working fine.

Mine still isn't working. Every once in awhile, if I leave the client on for long enough, it might quit... but usually it will not. JAMF cannot replicate it and I'm waiting for GM of v8.6 which should fix it. We still don't know what could be causing the issue, though! Really strange...

Yes, it is strange. I have one computer (Mac OS X 10.7.4) exhibiting the problem with the App Store, but others are OK (we are using JSS 8.5.2).

The only other variable I can bring up is that accessing the App Store through the menu bar will bypass the restricted software, but accessing the App Store through the Dock or Applications will not.
