Moving to a new server

I'm trying to move our Casper install to a new server and can't get past the initial installation. I downloaded the Casper 8.4.3 dmg, ran the JSS Installer.mpkg and get an error on the Database Connection page.

Is there a step-by-step guide on how to do this?

I thought Mac installs were supposed to be easy...and I haven't even tried to restore the DB from the other server yet. <sigh>

Which version of the OS are you using? I'm assuming OS X Lion as you state that MySQL isn't installed. You'll need to install that first. Take a look at this KBase article: https://jamfnation.jamfsoftware.com/article.html?id=28 Installing Java and MySQL

If you've installed MySQL just make sure you follow the commands in the KB article jafuller gave you. Those commands create the user the JSS uses to connect then gives it full permissions to the database you have to create as well.
