We have a small media arts lab in our high school that we would like to utilize AD network home folders. This would allow students to move between machines and have access to preferences and files. I would like to keep the Library, Documents, Pictures, and Movies folders as Network folders and the Downloads and Desktop folders local to the workstation. I remember doing this with Managed Preferences years ago but I was wonder if there is a way to do this with Configuration Profiles.
Alternatively, We would be open to redirecting users home folders to a storage device that we have dedicated to the media art lab. I am not sure if anyone out there has a script that could assist us with this.
