(iOS and iPadOS only)
I have configured a Configuration Profile with active Exchange Active Sync and VPN Payload.
The VPN is set up as "Per-App-VPN".
The configured apps like Chrome or Notability are activating the VPN as configured.
I have also selected the Per-App-VPN as "VPN Connection" in EAS Payload.
But as soon as I open the mail app, Mail asks me for my user password. This is rejected because the VPN is not yet established.
I got a response from jamf support that Per App VPN with the Mail app doesnt work because the Mail app cannot be managed.
Anyone got a smart idea how i can workaround this behaviour, that our users going to trigger the vpn connection when opening mail?
Users trying to open mail before activating the vpn and run in to the problem.
Do i have to use an alternate mail app for this and map it to my Per-app VPN?
