We currently have PreStage Enrollment and Automated Device Enrollment setup and all new Macs are being enrolled this way. Now the question is how to handle the nearly 1,000 Macs that are already in the wild. The Macs in the wild are already enrolled in Jamf Pro but we would like to switch them over to PreStage Enrollment and Automated Device Enrollment.
We use Intune to manage our iOS devices and it was simple enough to just add the devices through ASM to Intune into an enrollment profile. From there the device were not affected at all until we factory reset them. Can we mirror that in Jamf? Or would Jamf start triggering policies and profiles as soon as we added the devices to PreStage enrollment since the devices are already enrolled in Jamf?

@Sobchak Unless you re-image those Macs nothing will happen due to them being added to your Jamf Pro PreStage Enrollment.

Ok so I could safely add all the Macs to PreStage Enrollment and Automated Device Enrollment and not worry about anything happening until the next time they are reset. And the nice part is all these devices will just gradually enroll through PreStage enrollment as they get reset for one reason or another.
