Would anyone know of a script that would allow the path of the students computer be printed at the bottom of a page they print? We are having issues with kids "over-printing" and we would like to know who is printing what.

Footer Settings
Print page footer (user name and date)
fit your needs?

That would work. Not sure if you would get some resistance though as it would add the footer to everything that gets printed.

Do you have any print accounting / management system in place like PaperCut or PCounter?

Alternatively, what are you using for a print server?

If the student needs footer free print, they have a teacher print the doc. Teacher are slightly less responsible for piles of paper left at the printer, but I got too much grief when tried putting the footer on theirs.

neither a PaperCut nor print server at this time. talked about many times though!
