"Other" Login Should be disabled

Does anyone know why the "Other" username might show up at login after enrollment when it's disabled in the configuration profile? It happens sporadically... for example in a lab of 30 identical computers, 6 of them show the Other login, even after re-enrolling.

Its possible that you have another config profile thats causing this type of behavior. can you provide some details like Version of jamf, OS X version and what profiles you currently have deployed. thanks

JSS version 9.61 on OS X 10.8.5. The profiles we have set up are Login - This profile is basically for every computer in the school district. Other is disabled.
HS Login - Our high school is on Active Directory, so their login screen has name/pw text fields. The problem computers do not match the criteria for this profile
Restrictions - Restrictions are set when local account Student is logged in. (login option is not configured)
No Internet - Basically a script to disable Internet for a single lab. The problem computers do not match this criteria
Casper Servers - config for our distribution points

I do see that within the individual computer info, under the management tab, the Login config profile shows as 'pending'. I'm guessing that's where it gets stuck, I'm just not sure why.

It looks like the login profiles also don't show up on those computers' System Preferences. If I remove the MDM profiles, reboot, and reenroll, the login profile works properly and Other doesn't show up. Not sure what caused the issue in the first place, but at least I can work around it.

@nikki The issue that you are running into is identified before not sure if its still out there but To overcome this issue, i built our configuration profile in Profile Manager (signed by Profile Manager), then uploaded and deployed the profiles with the JSS. I would literally set up each profile one by one for best results.. do you also have managed preferences by any chance??

If I remember correctly, the "Other..." option will show up if you have the ability for administrators to log in, and your management account is hidden on the system. This is usually the reason that I have seen the "Other..." option appear at the login window.
