that makes sense, my understanding is that FV is a pre-boot area of the device and not the actual OS (which is why AD passwords can get out of sync with it). The FV preboot wouldn't load 3rd party apps/drivers and potentially bluetooth stuff as well.

Thanks for posting that. We've been slow to move to full disk encryption so this is good to know as we move forward.

I got a response from Logitech, they revamped their article to telling customers to disable FileVault 2. #yay
Logitech provides a USB-A receiver, which is useless when your MacBook Pro only has USB-C ports.
