that makes sense, my understanding is that FV is a pre-boot area of the device and not the actual OS (which is why AD passwords can get out of sync with it). The FV preboot wouldn't load 3rd party apps/drivers and potentially bluetooth stuff as well.

I got a response from Logitech, they revamped their article to stop telling customers to disable FileVault 2. #yay

Logitech provides a USB-A receiver, which is useless when your MacBook Pro only has USB-C ports.

Looks like reddit has a thread on this as well.

Logitech is recommending users disable FileVault so that their bluetooth accessories work

I updated my blog post, not sure how I picked up a couple thousand followers in past weeks, must be the Jeep stuff. :)
