I want to remote wipe about 20 computers. I find the computers in the JSS, go to the manage tab, select remote wipe and enter the code. So far so good. What I get on the other end is a computer sitting there waiting for me to physically enter the six digit lock code. Am I missing something here or is that how this works? It's not very helpful if I have to go to another location and enter the code 20 times. Can anyone give me some insight?

+25@Maineboy22 Wipe might be better called Wipe and Lock as it's supposed to wipe the computer, then set the lock code you specified. When you enter the code to unlock you should have a machine waiting for an OS re-install. Is that not what you're seeing?
@Maineboy22 so when the computer reboots and you enter the lock code, then afterwards when you see the screen with disk utility, reinstall etc... at this point the computer has been wiped?
no reason to use Disk Utility and wipe it?
