A faulty patch resulted in an alias to the Applications folder on the root level of the drive. I would like to remove it via the "Files and Processes" option in a policy. This works fine for regular files and folders but it seems to not touch an alias.
Is there some special way I have to address an alias?

@vanschip-gerard You should be able to use rm, but a command used specifically for this purpose is "unlink":
/bin/unlink /path/to/symlink
