For anyone who uses Sophos, how are you integrating it into your image? Are you using the packages they gave you without modifying them, or taking a composer snapshot of their package installer?
If I install it at reboot with a custom trigger it installs ok, but I'd like to install it on the image if possible (their package fails during image time).
Thanks for any info.

We install at reboot using a script to call a policy to install the Sopho's
mpkg. We use the standard package without modification. We also include a
second package in our policy to set specific preferences. (The second
package is a simple dmg created with Composer containing two plist files.)

You'll want to use their package to get the postflights and install it on reboot. If you don't do it that way, you'll likely have issues with it keeping a good connection with the console server.

Same here, We just install after imaging using the .mpkg that our Sophos Enterprise Console server generates.
Then just package it up with a script that runs
/usr/sbin/installer -pkg /private/tmp/SophosAV.mpkg -target /
And that works really well, Our specific config is included in the installer as the EC server generates the installer.
