Hello,
On two machines now, after upgrading to Mavericks from 10.7.8, I now have two Active Directory "Network Home" Dock items. They both work, but there are two; does anyone know why this is or how to remove one of them? All of our machines are joined to Active Directory only- no other directory service. Thank you.

I had 3.
Following a couple reboots, I only have the one again.

I had a extra Downloads folder post update, have not tried a few reboots yet. Just the ones accompanied via preforming the update.

I can verify after a reboot I did have my extra Downloads folder disappear, leaving only one as expected.

Interesting- reboots have not removed the additional dock item. Perhaps it's specific to the Active Directory Network Home folder icon.

Our Macs have gone the other way. AD UNC paths aren't mapping at all during login with 10.7 to 10.9 OS following tha upgrade to Casper suite 9.2.

@cdyson Someone mentioned that a Configuration Profile for setting loginwindow to Username & Password is the problem. This may be a problem with JSS 9.2, not OS X 10.9.
