Smart groups based on users in a shared iPad environment

Hi everyone,

So I am trying to make it possible to ban certain apps depending on which grade the students are in. This would be really easy in a 1:1 environment, of course, but my iPads are in shared mode using managed IDs. I thought smart device groups would be a solution but this does not seem to do anything. Is this even possible with a shared iPad/managed IDs environment?

Thanks a million

Alex

Smart groups with the criteria Shared iPad - Is - Yes should make you see all shared iPads. The problem is then to get the grades to do anything. For that, I would add the shared device to a class, and see if that applies the grade. Then add grade as a second smart group criteria.
