We recently implemented jamf connect using the azure process. Now all of our users passwords are defined by corporate policy. But was told there was no way to reset users password thru AD. After testing (I used an existing account to login to my mac, and changed the password in AD, and the mac wouldn't take then new password) but it still recognized the old one after waiting for 10 minutes.
We're experimenting by changing the password in the azure portal, and while the password was able to be changed, when logging in, I still needed the old password. I also tried to change the password from the local admin account and that was worse, NONE of the passwords matched or synced.
How do YOU change the password for a user that forgets their password?
