Changing Users ShortName and Home Folder Directory Via Script

I was wondering if there was a script I could send out via Self Service to change the logged in users ShortName and Home Folder directory?

You will have to do this from within a different account since you can't alter the current users home path while they're logged in. Theres been a few postings on here for something similar to this when moving from one Directory Service to another, but this JAMF Nation thread might offer direction on how to proceed.
