Is there a good established recipe for converting a company-supplied, Jamf-managed iPhone into a BYOD device? My company is offering this as a preferred option for its sales force, and I want to make sure I do it right.
My intuition is:
1. Remove from DEP
2. Wait a couple of days for that to take full effect
3. Send it a Wipe Device command
4. Send it a Clear Passcode command
5. Send it an Unmanage Device command
6. Delete its JSS record.
Am I leaving something out? Have things in the wrong order? Have superfluous steps? I hope someone has gone through this exercise before!
