We are a 1-to-1 school with username classes created in Jamf Pro. When the class is initially created the EDU profile is sent to the students and teachers for the class. However, if I student device is replaced for some reason, a new EDU profile is not created for the teachers or student. The student with the new device shows as not online in the teacher Classroom app. Currently, the way we manually fix this is to remove the student from all of their classes in Jamf and then add them back, thus creating new EDU profiles that are pushed to the devices.
Is this the expected behavior or is there a better way to handle this? Any ideas or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
