VPP, Apple DEP, and creating apple id for DEP

I looked and can't find the answer to the following two questions:

Where do I find directions to create multiple apple id's for our institution owned iPads?

How do I alert apple for safe list for ip?

I have created and used our vpp account, dep account, and see the area for creating apple ids.
but i have also seen people discuss if there is more than 5 devices sending requests to apple for apps, we need to alert apple.

I believe these questions may have been answered, but can't fine the answers myself.

The only place to make create multiple apple id's.

Your institution must have an email server setup (MS Exchange).
Create the emails, than upload them to your GSX.

I think you need to contact your Apple SE to get your site white listed for Apple ID creation. This is needed so they don't decide you are spamming and disable the ability to create Apple IDs.

I would guess that's where you would go to get scripts for creating Apple IDs in bulk (not under 13 apple IDs), though I am not aware of the process or if this is an Apple thing or a third party workaround.

The area you mentioned within vpp2 is for under 13 Apple IDs. We used this to create Apple IDs for our under 13 students, rather than having parents do it for them.

I do not know about the "more than 5 devices" question, as I do not think there is a official designation for institutional Apple IDs....

I did not know that GSX gave the ability to create bulk apple ids.
Now I have to get our GSX login process to work again :0
I will will also check the link provided by Sandy.

We are labeling each iOS device with a user name that matches the machine name.
thus the need to create apple id's in bulk.

Hi, last time I checked, GSX created Apple IDs can't be used with iCloud. Just something to bear in mind before getting too far.

Regarding whitelisting, I get something different each time we request it from Apple. It's not a guaranteed service that you can rely on. We had this from our Apple rep:

"It is important to understand that our whitelist exception policy is not a service - it requires negotiation from different stakeholders within Apple and ultimately sits with the security team of iTunes Music Store that reside in Cupertino."

Are you making Apple IDs for students? Are they under 13 years of age?
