Hello,
we are using Jamf School. The new system calculator App will feature AI Abilities.
Will it be possible to block these AI features or the new calculator App as whole?
Kind Regards

Apple made no mention of having management capabilities over Apple Intelligence. We have submitted feedback, and I suggest you do the same as well.
Be aware that Apples Beta Seed, which covers iOS/iPadOS 18 and all their related functions such as Apple Intelligence and the Calculator App are under NDA. You can only discuss this stuff within your own developer environment or apple approved locations like the Mac Admin Slack Appleseed channel (hint, request membership).

Yes, it is coming, luckily Apple realised already before it was released.
'For IT admins, they can manage the use of Math Notes on their devices.'

Since iOS 18 relese date is closing in: Is there an update / jamf payload in the works?
I have submitted feedback to apple.
I haven't found any payload info under iOS-> Restrictions by now.

Haven't seen it in AppleSeed for IT or the other Apple resources yet, which is where I'd expect it to surface first. I was hoping to see more by now as well, but I guess it will be closer to iOS 18 release/ appropriate point release after.

Hello,
I blocked the calculator app but "Math Notes" is still working : if I go in my Note app and write "48x100=", the iPad solves it. I can't find any payload in jamf. Any idea ?
Thank you

Haven't seen any yet, some Apple Intelligence features were covered in a recent blog post for Jamf Pro, but not for Jamf School as of yet.

Apple Developer has released all the "Math Settings" - but it's up to each MDM to integrate it into their solutions via DDM, it won't be a standard restriction policy. Mosyle has it implemented already, hoping we hear more from Jamf's implementation at JNUC.
