Is there a way to view the past names that have been assigned to a
device? I have a few devices that were returned to me, but they were
wiped and their name is now "iPad" in Jamf. If I could check logs to see
what the name was before it was wiped it ...
I apologize if this was answered already elsewhere, but most of the
answers I saw looked MacOS related, not iOS. I somehow missed the
expiration for our apple push certificate, so by the time I renewed it
the old one was no longer valid. When I renew...
When users use Quick start on a brand-new DEP enabled iPad to restore an
iCloud backup from an old device, they are faced with the message: "The
configuration for your iPad can not be downloaded. The configuration is
not available." If they go throug...
I'm trying to replicate my share point to my local drive to use for
Casper Imaging target disk mode. In Casper Admin when I click on my File
Share distribution point, the replicate button is greyed out and I can't
seem to find any message as to why. ...
I seem to remember the trainer mentioning something about this in the
iOS Jumpstart, but I can't remember now what it was, and I figure those
with some experience under their belts may have discovered a method that

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't able to see the GPS coordinates you
mentioned, but even so that doesn't help since I'm in possession of the
iPads so I know their GPS coordinates. I'm wondering if I could see the
last name of the iPad before it was wip...
Thanks Steve, I saw that post but it looked like it was MacBook
specific, not for iPads. However, it turns out I made a similar error to
others and used the wrong AppleID to renew the certificate, so the issue
wasn't so much that it was expired. Once...
I'm finding this to still be an issue. I'm on JSS 9.96 and iOS 9.3.5.
Like @dmillertds said, I'm not excited about touching all the devices to
fix this. It it looks like this issue has been around for a while, so I
don't know if there is any end in s...
@amanda.wulff Thank you! That kb article pointed me to exactly what I
needed - I missed step 4. I had thought that pressing the Replicate
button on my primary share would prompt me to select a location to place
the copy. Instead, the behavior is to f...
Thanks Amanda, I've had this on 2 devices with 2 AppleIDs. Unfortunately
I just finished collecting and re-distributing all the iPads to
unsupervise them from Apple Configurator so I could supervise them with
Casper Suite instead, so I'm not excited ...
