The latest release of the Jamf Setup and Jamf Reset apps support a new wireless, over the air workflow for shared device management. This preview workflow called “Single Login” includes:
- Cloud IdP-based network authentication with Microsoft Azure
- Role-based provisioning and access control
- Enhanced device passcode management
- Cross-app single sign-on for supporting iOS/iPadOS apps
- A soft-reset logout workflow that doesn’t require a device wipe
Check out this video below to see the preview workflow in action!
For additional details about this release, see:
The Single Login workflow uses key Microsoft technologies designed for supporting Apple's Enterprise SSO Framework. These technologies are currently in public preview, so please carefully consider potential support issues and other potential risks before using. Microsoft preview technologies are subject to Microsoft's terms and conditions and should not be used in a production environment.

Beam Mobile
This is a great medical grade that isn’t too bulky and still provides extra battery power.

Wondering if this is still limited to public preview constraints? Meaning, Authenticator must be enrolled first using an Azure account that has the "Cloud Device Administrator" role assigned?

@adam_mahmud are we close to having this workflow in production? We go live with Epic in a year and we are about to start testing…Fingers crossed.

Is there every going to be an option for this type of functionality for other IDPs like Ping, Okta or VMware Workspace ONE Access?

This is still in public preview, correct? Meaning, for this to work, we need to manually login to Authenticator in Shared Device mode using an Azure account that has the "Cloud Device Administrator" role?

Anybody else seeing the error that 'this app is not designed for use in shared device mode' when hoping that Single Sign-on and Single Sign-out gets triggered perfectly by Jamf reset?
