Folks:
A few times lately we've had Casper Remote stop in mid push with this error. JSS says it's in management, recently inventory updated and checked in recently. I can run Recon on it remotely and I can SSH to it as root and navigate around so I know my root account on the Mac is all right. Once SSH'd to it I can run jamf manage:
MRMIOMP1125:~ root# jamf manage

MRMIOMP1125:~ root#
And the log says:

Never mind. I figured it out. It was something bad in the printer list or a CUPS config. I "reset Printing System" and tried again and it worked fine. Nothing to do with the error presented at all.
Next time more testing and less typing. Hope it helps someone else.

Further - I can get packages to it but it fails on a printer configuration in case that's any help. I think I'll test that printer config elsewhere as a control test.
