Has anyone successfully whitelisted MATLAB with the PPPC utility or another method? It doesnt allow me to add the app, it just ignores it. Ive tried PPPC Utility 1.1.2 with MATLAB 2017a through 2019b.

Im trying this method, but running the script with or without sudo just brings up a Terminal window that says "script was not run with administrator privileges" when I try running it via a Self Service policy.

drag and drop the app bundle onto the Preview app and it will open up with EVERY graphical element in the app. Select the one you want and save it as a png.

I am also having problems with startosinstall, it keeps asking for admin privileges. I get the osinstallsetupd prompt. Jamf logs says "Could not create a preboot volume for APFS install."

If I'm not mistaken... adding a mobile user to FV lets them decrypt the Mac... but this doesnt give them secureToken, so they cant DISABLE FV, nor can they ever ENABLE it again later. So if you delete the local admin that turned on FV, you've painted...
