Lightspeed

Not applicable

We are using light speed to filter content on our computers and I was
wondering if anyone has had experience with creating a package with composer
for the Guide and Security Agents to deploy as part of the image.

We do both and haven’t had issues with actual installs. Our biggest problem is lightspeed not classifying mac users correctly from time to time

I used LightSpeeds instructions on their wiki for ARD installs and made a policy that includes the two pkg files for the user agent and mobile agent as well as the two plist files. The instructions tell you how to modify the plist (add your specific server name) and where they are to install. I used composer to make two DMG files of the two plists files. We can then use remote to push the 4 files or a Policy. It is working well.

I'm confused. When I extract the Lightspeed Mobile Filter dmg, for Mavericks, there is a .pkg file inside another .pkg file. external image link](https://www.dropbox.com/s/3r01hj8x5kvb5w5/Mavericks%20Mobile%20Filter%20unpackaged.png). When using the User Agent ![external image link I can see where you would be able to create a .pkg out of that but not with the former. I've probably confused the situation but am looking for an answer.
